			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One day a male patient about my age sat up as I started playing, and said, &#8220;I love those shoes.&#8221; He made me take them off for his inspection and commented on how cool they were. His daughter sat at his bedside and explained how her dad had always had a thing for shoes. I sang him country songs and he sang along. I met her in the hallway about a week later and she explained that her father had passed away, and added, &#8220;We bought a pair of those sandals to bury him in.&#8221; Brought tears to my eyes.</p>
